LOOKING UP THE SKY RANCH

From the architectural designs of a skyscraper, to a school of teenage superheroes Sky High, locking on to the courageous Skydivers and straight to the glittery girly cartoon Sky Dancers; Ladies and Gents a question to ponder… what do you think is next for the superfluous usage of Sky?

Well let’s head on to a place a few hours from Manila…a place where in the atmospheric cold and evergreen pine trees may be equal to our Beloved Baguio…say hello to Tagaytay’s newest attraction Sky Ranch.

This is Sky Ranch!

This is Sky Ranch!

Nope kiddies it’s not a ranch that you can see floating steadily up the blue sky although that can be achieve maybe a thousand years from now or in your imagination!!! Then again, seriously it’s a new fun place to be with your friends, family and love ones. Think of it as a playground wherein cute and amusing rides are spread across the field overlooking the majestic Taal Volcano.

A grand view of Taal!

Now let’s get in with the review which is by the way according to my opinion base on the experience that I had.

First up the place is quite similar already. It is a theme park anyway. Kids will OBVIOUSLY have fun in that place. Well, all kids will definitely have fun riding on a kiddie train, carousel or any merry go round type of rides. It’s a TYPICAL THEME PARK people! The only difference is that it is situated in Tagaytay and it overlooks the volcano.

Here comes the kiddie train!!!

Teenagers…well yeah they will enjoy it too but the rides catering to their age are quite limited as in really limited. The same goes with the adults. The only thing thrilling and will make you have a heart attack is the zip line. That is if you have the courage of a lion to ride it in the first place! Of course, what is Tagaytay without the horses right?

Giddyap!

Giddyap!

Well let’s just give it a benefit of the doubt. The place is quite new and maybe over the next few months or a year it will have an expansion (according to the guards in the area).Hopefully there will be more thrilling and exciting rides  that will accommodate teens and adults in the future.

Is this the security guard? LOL!

Foods? Well you won’t go hungry. They have their own kiosk and some restaurants lined up. Tickets are available at the entrance. Don’t forget the entrance fee!  There are package rates (example: Ride all you can) posted on the window of the cashier. Now if you don’t want to pay for the package rides you can also buy tickets inside the park and pay for those that you only want to ride. P50 per ride except for the giant Ferris wheel a.k.a Sky Eye and the Giant Ship that swings left to right from fast to slow…a.k.a. The Viking.

I see the sky! The Sky Eye!

This Sky Eye can see everything!!! Even Frodo if he wears the Ring!!! LOL!!

Anyway, do not expect it to be like Enchanted Kingdom or Disneyland or any other grand theme park. The place is quite simple. The Taal Volcano view is a bonus.

RATING: 3 out of 5 stars.
